Joya Griffin, DVM, Diplomate ACVD

Dr. Griffin is from Ohio and went to undergraduate at Johns Hopkins University. She went on to veterinary school at Cornell University. After graduation she completed a one year rotating internship in small animal surgery and medicine at a private specialty referral hospital in Chicago. She returned to Cornell to complete her residency in dermatology. She stayed on for an additional year as a staff clinician and lecturer during which time she saw appointments at the veterinary teaching hospital at Cornell as well as taught veterinary students, interns, and residents.  She joined Animal Dermatology Clinic's Louisville location in August 2010 and is seeing appointments every week in Lexington at BVS.  She is board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Dermatology. She sees all issues related to the skin and ears and her primary clinical interests are immune-mediated and fungal skin disorders.   Appointments are made by calling their Louisville office at (502)240-0947.
